Keep Cool and Carry On

I think over the next week at least, my mantra 'Keep Cool and Carry On' is going to be a hard ask.

Since being pregnant with Will my body thermometer has changed and I really can't handle the heat like I used to, so the thought of high 30's to 40degree days this week is not very appealing :(

So what am I going to do beside sit in front of the aircon? I'm going to 'think cool' by focusing on these beautiful pics...

My heart beats faster when I see this pic, is this not the cutest pool house EVER!!! I WANT!

Very beautiful, I'll take the house too please

Tres chic!

And a beautiful pool montage would not be complete without featuring the 'Something's Gotta Give' pool - stunning!

And this is how Will and I kept cool yesterday...
We spent about three hours on the deck splashing away.
As you can see there wasn't much room for Mummy in there, I think we need to upgrade!

And we also had homemade iceblocks with my new Tupperware ice block thingamees.

How will you stay cool?

  2. I hear you, i had a twin pregnancy ending up 9 months pregnant in Darwin in December - that was so hot & humid with 2 babies in my belly, oh, freezing cold AC was the only way to go!!
Now in Canberra with smack in the face heat, no AC or pool, we use floor fans & wear very little to keep cool, then swim at the local military pool - the 4 children play, i do laps, ahhhhh, love Posie

  3. Gosh I hear you about this heat...so unbearable. Coming from NZ and summers that rarely reach the 20's this climate has been a major shock to the system that I am still trying to adjust too fours years later

  4. I noticed the hot temperature down the east coast but poor old us in Tassie are grey and drizzly at 22 degrees. I'd be happy with sunny and 25 I think. Mum used to make us those ice blocks when we were little and we loved them!
    Keep cool :)

  5. So much gorgeousness in one post! We've finally had some true summer weather lately, but the rain can stay away. Nothing like a home-made ice block and a wading pool in a hot Aussie summer....perfect! K xx

  18. Will is so cute, splashing around in his pool! Loving the home-made ice blocks too! I bought a set before Xmas and it has been one of the best purchases I have ever made! The girls pop grapes and chopped strawberries in with fruit juice and freeze it, they love them and so much cheaper than buying ice-blocks from the shop! Hope you stay cool today ~ Txx
