Wedding bells...

...are ding donging in my head today, especially when I spotted these gorgeous pics on Pinterest this morning.

Could this be the most gorgeous dress? Via here
I think I would go for something like this if I was to get married again.

So magical - beautiful outdoor wedding via here
I know my hubby would love an outdoor setting like this - 10yr vow renewal maybe?!?!?!

Amazing! via here

A bit too full-on for my personal taste but the ruffles are just gorgeous. via here

Love this beautiful shot. via here

Do you dream about weddings even after having your own magical day? I do :)

Have a great day,

Royal Wedding Day

I don't know about you but I'm SO excited about the Royal Wedding.

The hype here in Australia has been amazing so I can't begin to imagine what it's like over in the UK. A friend of mine who lives in England said that there are flags, bunting and souvenirs EVERYWHERE.

I wish my Grandma was still alive as she loved the Royals and it would have been fun to watch the wedding with her. (I was too young to watch Charles and Di's wedding so this is my first real Royal wedding).

When the Queen came out to Australia in 1954 my Grandma, who was 7mths pregnant with my Mum, went into the city and braved the crowds to catch a glimpse of the young Queen.

Here is the Queen and Prince Phillip on their wedding day, what an amazing train.

Here are some other famous brides, and Kate will now be added to this group after today, how exciting for her. Imagine how her parents feel!
Apparently the Abbey has been transformed into a woodland with trees and foliage everywhere - can't wait to see it!

Are you excited or you just don't care?

I'll be getting ready for Will's 2nd birthday party while I'm watching the wedding, if I wasn't going to be running around I'd get out my wedding dress and watch the wedding in my dress :) hehehehe I know I'm a hopeless romantic sucker :)

Have a right royal day and enjoy!

Weddings

I've been doing a few of the new Customised Wedding Scroll print this week and it's got me wedding reminiscing/dreaming...

And so when I came across this on pintrest.com I just had to share!

Breath taking or what!

Look at the colours in this bouquet, so beautiful! And the draping of the dress!

The plates and silver...

Chairs, flowers...

A beautiful table marker and flowers on a cake stand.... great idea!

Yummy!

Even more yummy!

I might ask Glen tonight if he'd like to remarry me :) hehehe.

Have a beautiful day ladies,

New Print: Customised Wedding Scroll

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day yesterday. We went out for a lovely dinner which I might blog about later on.

But I thought I'd show you a print which I've just added to my shops. It's a design I've done for a couple of customers before and decided to add it to the range.

It's a wedding version of my Custom Birth Print design but in B&W...

This 8 x 10 inch black and white vintage bus scroll style wedding print will make the perfect wedding, anniversary gift or simply a reminder of your special day.

What do you think? I think I need more walls in my home hehehehee....

Thank you all so much for your lovely congrats on the Shop4Kids feature yesterday, it means so much to me :)

Have a great day,

Friday's wedding & Happy Birthday Dad

We had a lovely time at our friend's wedding on Friday. It was such a beautiful occasion and the bride looked stunning!

They had an orange theme which came together beautifully.

The top right pic is of my best friend holding 'William's future wife' baby Isabella, her husband, her mum on the left and me on the right of the picture.

Sonya (the bride) is such a generous person that instead of the normal DJ's or Myer gift registry she set up an Oxfam Unwrapped registry where you could go on and purchase things like A Goat, Seeds for planting, Clean Water, Medical Kits, Build a Bridge, Vegie Garden etc etc. How Generous is That!

They also continued that theme by purchasing one of these Oxfam Gifts and leaving the card which Oxfam produces as a thank you on each table at the reception in place of the normal Bomboniere. I thought this was such a lovely idea that for an event in which so much money is spent for the one day, that they thought to give back to others.

I also wanted to say a BIG HAPPY 55th BIRTHDAY to my wonderful Dad for today!
We celebrated on Saturday together but Will, my sister and I are also meeting up with Mum and Dad today for lunch which will be so nice.

Time for me to brag about my Dad...
My Dad's the Best. He can fix anything. He drives really fast. He taught me music, cars, electronics, fixing, mechanical stuff, drawing, jokes, yummy food. My Dad and I are twins; we love the same food, we smile and laugh the same, same eyes, same sense of humour, we love gadgets, old movies, playing the piano and guitar. My Dad is so cool cause he works in TV. My Dad is the best Grandpa too. I love my Dad!

I hope you have a great day Dad, and everyone else too,

Going to the chapel and we're...

We have a friend's wedding to go to this afternoon so I thought I would post some wedding inspiration pics from Martha Stewart Weddings. This Cherry Blossom theme is beautiful. How magnificent is that Cherry Blossom tree?

This one is a Breakfast at Tiffany's theme which Martha herself designed for the couple.

I'll take some pics of the wedding today and post them sometime next week.

I hope you are having a great Friday my friends.
Take care,
