I heart period dramas

Is anyone else loving Downtown Abbey?

I am a sucker for any period dramas, the clothes, the life, the houses, the horses.... etc so Downtown Abbey is top of my 'must watch' shows.

Look at the beautiful dresses

Not too shabby hey!?!

If it wasn't for the fact that her parents were trying to 'sell' her off to the richest husband and all the drama that goes along with it, I'd quite like the life of Lady Mary :)

Have you been watching Downtown?

We've had a very boring long weekend as my bubby is sick again with both his ears infected now and a very bad cough. He's getting better today though and is having a lovely long sleep as I type.

Have you enjoyed your long weekend (if you'd had one)?

Cheers,

  1. I am with you Janette I love a good period drama. I found it a bit hard trying to choose between Downton and The Kennedy's. In the end I watched both. It made for a rather late night.

  6. Yes, absolutely loving it! Those dresses, the manor and what gorgeous horses last night. I heard they spend a million dollars an episode to make it happen. Anyway, it makes a nice change from reality tv :)

  9. I'm so annoyed because I missed the first episode and then I saw they re-ran it so I taped it but then I missed the second one so I figured I was too late to join in. Someone is lending a friend the series though so I'm going to borrow it off her for sure because everyone has been raving about it. Hope Will's new antibiotics are making a difference for him poor little love xx
