There's a fire in the kitchen...

I'd love to be hanging out in this gorgeous white, bright kitchen today, all warm and toasty with a fire going.
My cold/flu has given me a very sore croaky throat today, so I sound like a cross between a frog and Darth Vader :)

I'm thinking of putting on the slow cooker, as right now I've still got the energy to think about dinner, and I am dreaming of a cozy fireplace to warm me up!

Have a great day everyone & thanks so much again for all the lovely comments and new blog visitors. I'll try and get around to saying Hi to everyone soon :)

  3. What a fabulous image that is. And the slow cooker is hands down my best winter friend...I love mine! I managed to download and look at the ACA interview last night...I was so excited to see you and your gorgeous boy and to hear your voice...how wonderful that we could get to know you a bit more :)

  4. I have our living room fire going as it is freezing here today. We have one in the kitchen, but that is where we have placed our range cooker, so had better not light a fire there;) I am just about to pop some smokey BBQ ribs into our slow cooker. I think getting yours on is a great idea, then you can rest up and hopefully feel better. Big get well hug to you Janette ~ Tina x

  5. The slow cooker sounds like a good way to prepare a hearty meal for your poor voice. Rest up and remember to whisper. Don't strain those vocal cords. I haven't seen the ACA interview so I will do some backtracking and check it out.

  9. Oh my gosh, what a gorgeous kitchen. I love everything about it from the beautiful, calm colour palette, to those gorgeous chairs and that wonderful fireplace. I'd love to be sitting at that table right now with my cuppa and a laptop :) Putting on your slow cooker sounds like a great idea so you can rest - the chicken dish you're trying sounds delicious (I'm trying corned beef in my slow cooker at the moment). Hope your throat gets better and that you are feeling well again real soon xx

The owner of the ottoman I covered isn't South African but I can see why you would come to that conclusion!!!
