Helping Haiti

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments on yesterday's post, it means so much to me!!!

And I've got more good news today... as the end of the My Sweet Prints 'Helping Haiti' campaign (hehehe, campaign sounds more official doesn't it!) has drawn to a close as of midnight last night. So the total that is going to Médecins Sans Frontières Australia www.msf.org.au is (drum roll please...) $ 164.20 AUD! Thank you to everyone who purchased a print in the last month to help raise money for this much needed cause. Let's continue to keep the people of Haiti in our thoughts and prayers as they try to recover from this terrible disaster.

So I said last week that I'd share about my surprise trip out on the weekend for Valentine's day! Well he took me to Wiseman's Ferry which is a little old town just outside of Sydney and we had a delicious lunch at a restaurant overlooking the golf course down there. I had the Salmon and it was soooo yummy! It was really nice to get out just the two of us to somewhere that we wouldn't usually go. On the way home we stopped at a nursery in Dural for coffee and I had the biggest slice of Lemon Meringue Pie you've ever seen! (I wish I'd got a photo of it so you could see just how high the fluffy meringue was).

Here is a picture of the beautiful flowers he got me which I put in my Grandma's vase. And the photo you can (sort of) see is of Will at about 4days old on hubby's hand - so precious!

I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks again my wonderful blog friends!
