Helping Haiti

Image via msf.org.au
Seeing the devastation on last night's news of the Haiti earthquake tragedy prompted me to think about what I could do to help... now as a mother this awful event seems to have touched me even more. To think of the children who have parents missing, injured or killed and the parents and families who have lost their precious children. My prayers are with them all.

So I've decided that for the next month, from today the 15th January till 15th February 2010,
10% of all profits from My Sweet Prints
will go to Médecins Sans Frontières Australia
who already have teams in Haiti treating the men, women and children affected by this terrible disaster.

I hope it will make even a little difference.

  1. That's so sweet of you to do. The situation in Haiti is heartbreaking and I'm moved by all of the bloggers who are doing their part to reach out to these people in their hour of need.

Take care and I can't wait to get my custom print we worked on this week. Thank you again for the amazing job you did! I know it's going to look perfect in our house.

  2. So very generous of you. The whole situation is heartbreaking. I sat my 2 boys down to witness it all on SBS news last night. They need to know how lucky they are. They were silent and hugged me extra tight at bedtime last night. Both are donating last months pocket money as well. If we all do a little bit..... A-M xx
