It seems we've gone over our download limit on our home wireless Internet package and so now the Internet is running at a snails pace. Not the most convenient thing when you run an online business :(
But now I've bought a Vodafone USB modem thingy just to get me through the next week. And I've FINALLY got it to work so I feel like I can take my 'transmissions may cease at anytime' screen off my computer :)
Anyway the point of all of this was to say that I'm sorry if I haven't been visiting/commenting on your blogs the past few days as much as I usually would but when it takes 10mins for a page to load.... well you know.
So I'll be around to visit soon and I hope you're having a great day!
Cheers,
Yup..totally understand...mine has been doing the same...its a bugga! Hope to see you this weekend lovely x
ReplyDeleteYes, my son has been chewing up our bandwidth playing online games on the play station - Well I quickly put an end to that! Ha, ha, ha... It is very frustrating isn't it. Enjoy the rest of the week Janette. ;-)
ReplyDeleteNOTHING worse... even my six year old bangs the keyboard in frustration - and then horror when I tell him that this is what it was like in the "olden days"....
ReplyDeletehey gorge......thanks for the mention yesterday, i followed up with a blog today check it out......i now just use a usb modem, means i can go anywhere with it {it's great} thinking of you lisa xx
ReplyDeleteOh tell me about it! I've been ready to throw things out the window of late. I'm sure everyone thinks I'm the worst blog friend! Good old telecom!
ReplyDeleteAnd doesn't it always happen at THE most inconvenient time! Although I'm not quite sure where my modem thingy has gone...lost in some bag, drawer or suitcase somewhere!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pain - slow internet drives me crazy too. We had similar issues a little while back and I found it almost unbearable to use the computer :)
ReplyDeleteHow annoying, it must be driving you crazy!
ReplyDeleteIt is the pits when that happen. We are on a 100GB plan & we still gobble it up.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, very frustrating. I know what it's like, though my internet is good, it's just my computer that is soooooo slow. SOmetimes it takes up to 20 to even get going!
ReplyDeleteOther than that I hope you are having a very nice week x
Oh my new month just clicked over, ahhhhh, speedy & WiFi making me happy & free again. Just in time for the children & their homework requirements on the internet too. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteUgh feel your Pain!
ReplyDeleteeven more annoying is....... a slow computer. Im about ready to throw mine out the window!! No idea why it is....... could it have anything to do with the squillion photos I have saved on there?! But rather than part with them, id rather get a whole new computer... hope your internet back online soon. x
ReplyDeleteOh yes Janette - try NO INTERNET! Our power and internet was only re-connected a couple of days ago (after cyclone Yasi)and I have been desperately trying to catch up on what has been happening in everyone's lives. Life moves so quickly - blink, and you miss a huge junk! My internet limits have certainly been a lot more healthy since my 2 sons left home. They would gobble up my limit in 2 days - iinet must be having serious cash flow problems now! Take care - hope to hear from you soon. ;)Sharyne
ReplyDeleteIt's it terrible how reliant and impatient we've become with out sweet little Mac's! I had full on technical melt down a few moths back when she literally just died on the desk! I rushed her to the Mac shop as if it were the Emergency Room!
ReplyDeleteWhen you are an ultra efficient work from home mum, slow internet is not our friend!
Have a great weekend,
Vari @ Buttercup Ink xx

Oh how frustrating for you all. Hope you get it to rights soon, it can't be easy with a business to run. Amazing how much of our lives relies on the net. Hope you're otherwise having a great weekend! xx
