Ok, so it's
Wordless Wednesday so I'll try to keep this short but 'Thank you' so much for your lovely comments yesterday after my little 'Mummy Meltdown'... your words of wisdom, support and advice cheered me up and I feel so much better. No tears today and I just watched Will play at 'little school' orientation this morning with such gratitude and pride. So thank you lovely ladies!!!
Hugs and kisses to you all,
AWWWWWWWWWW .so very cute :)
ReplyDeleteYou will feel wonderful when he eventually waves you off with confidence and looks a little disinterested when you arrive to pick him up... it took my second boy weeks and weeks to not cry when I left him but now he loves his time at little school, shouts "bye" with gusto - I love it even more than he does! A x
ReplyDeleteCute. Charmaine
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are feeling a wee bit better today! I remember when my daughter started pre-school at the age of 4. I cried and drove straight to my mother's house looking for a shoulder to cry on. After that, a few friends and I made a deal that we would always meet for breakfast the first day of every school year so that we could console one another as our little ones continued on their journey to leave the nest. After elementary school we no longer needed one another to help us through that first day of school each year, but boy when college rolled around, we were right back at square one just like we had been many years before! Best wishes to your sweet Will as he begins his own journey...and of course to you too as you proudly look on!
ReplyDeleteKat :)

ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest photo ever! How sweet :) Glad you are feeling less teary today and how Will's orientation morning went well x
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous photo Janette. Very difficult to see our 'babies' grow up and through each stage become independent of us at various times in life - but always know from a mum with older children, they will always want to come back to their mum. Good to hear you have enjoyed watching him today with pride.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations too on being in Real Living mag - my favorite, will pick one up tomorrow.
