We went to the Frenchs Forest markets yesterday and had a lovely time!
Here is my little piggy striding along through the hustle and bustle of the busy markets with his 'teddy backpack' aka toddler lead on so that we didn't loose him.
The Frenchs Forest markets have lots of organic fruit and veg (at great prices) and lots of yummy hot food stands and delicious coffee, cake, dips, hand made soaps, clothes, toys etc.
There is also a kids section with two jumping castles. A big one for the bigger kids and a little one with netting around it for toddlers. So Will had his first time ever on a jumping castle and he loved it!
We also bought a new addition to our vegie garden, a garlic chive plant.
What did you get up to on the weekend?
Have a great start to the week!
I love those toddler leads...I don't know how I would have coped with the now 22 year old if I hadn't had one! Looks like a great market. Have a lovely week and thanks so much for your comment this morning. It was very, very kind :) x
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great weekend Janette. I had to work but we did get a lot of chores done around the house. I suppose that's a good thing. Today I'm off work so I will get to do some nice things hopefully!

That must have been a joy watching hime on his 1st jumping castle, very cool. I love the new addition, chives are one of my faves.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely Sunday - how great that they had a bouncy castle for littlies and that Will got his first go on one - he looks like he's loving it in that photo :) I really must get to the Farmer's Markets over here some time. I spent my weekend trying to keep Grace out of Paul's way while he painted our living room wall so visited my Mum and my Nanna for a little while - apart from that, I was sorting through boxes while Grace napped. Hope you and Will have a lovely start to the week xx
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a wonderful weekend. My little one has a 'monkey on her back'.... sorry this always makes me giggle a little - especially when she tries to 'get the monkey off her back'!! Hope you have a happy Monday. Michelle

ReplyDeleteAmongst other things, we hosted a traditional English roast dinner last night with friends which went on for hours and hours and ended up being a very late night indeed - well worth it though! :-)
