Thanks

I just wanted to take the time to firstly say 'Thank You' for reading my blog, commenting, emailing, just visiting from time to time, or reading every day.

It means a lot to me and I enjoy reading all your comments - so if you do read this little blog of mine but haven't commented before can I encourage you to even just say 'Hi' :)

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I also wanted to say a HUGE thank you to my Mum and Dad who kindly offered to have William for a sleep over yesterday to give us a bit of a break from our precious, gorgeous, delightful... but EXHAUSTING little bundle of love. Thank you, thank you, thank you Mum and Dad (and Kate, yes I didn't forget you lil'sis) I'm feeling much more human this morning and less zombie-like :)

So yes, just wanting to share the love this morning!

Thanks again,

  1. Heavens! No child - go back to bed... mine have been busting to get out and play soccer - when I pointed out to my five year old that people without children are still asleep at nine am he looked utterly disbelieving!

As to the reading of your blog, hey thank YOU, it's a daily pleasure. A x

  5. Your blog is always a delight to read and one of the first I head for :) How nice of your Mum and Dad to have Will for a sleepover to give you a break. I know what you mean about him being precious but exhausting - Grace is the same and doesn't stop - days with babies are definitely full on :) Enjoy your Sunday x

  7. It takes a village to raise a child - one of my favourite sayings..We don't have grandparents but we have a wonderful babysitter (she is a child protection worker) and we don't mind paying for her at all every now and then. The break does everyone good, as you know! I remember when the girls were Will's age..it is constant, but so cute..Rachaelxx

  11. Hi Janette, I love to read your blog so thank you to you also! I even tried your yummy recipe tonight with a few of my own twists (I cooked the spinach with butter and garlic and also added a few olives!). Everyone loved it, even the kids - it was yummo!

  12. Oh yes I remember those days of total sleep deprivation. I don't think I ever really got over them... I think I will always be tired as a result. How lovely that you have parents who can help you out. We ended up paying a nanny to be our children's grandparent! She was such an important part of our family back then and still is. I often look wistfully at extended families and wish we had had one... so enjoy your precious bubby's grandparents! A-M xx

  13. Janette, Right Back At You! It is amazing how lovely it is to receive a comment or see a new follower, I get tears in my eyes quite often at the amazingly sweet comments or words of encouragement from the blogging community (all of my friends).. Thanks for the sweet words, & I too, love hearing about marriages that last & and to see an adorable older couple slowly walking with canes or driving down the street, Makes my Heart Smile.. Thank You..

  14. Your're welcome Janette, always enjoy catching up over a cup of tea either over the internet or in person. I understand about sleep deprivation, J likes to get up with the kookaburras at 6am (sometimes earlier) and loves to have Mama sharing the early morning with him. Lost of love
