My night out

I had a lovely time last night, out with the Mothers Group girls. It was so relaxed, nice to be able to really chat, enjoy good food and lovely company. It felt like a stark contrast to our normal mothers group catch ups where we spend most of the time trying to fend our baby's off each other and stop the tears, tantrums and toy fights!

It was so nice to get out, put on a dress and heels and get out of our immediate 'neck of the woods'.

We went to 'The Deck' which is just inside Luna Park in Sydney and overlooks the water with the most stunning view of the harbour bridge, circular quay and the Oprah house.

The menu was great and the staff were lovely. I give it an 8/10! hehehe... (I love playing reviewer).

Hubby and I used to live in Kirribilli a few years ago and it made me a bit home sick for our old harbour views. My retirement plan is to have a two bedroom apartment in Kirribilli/Lavender Bay area then a little cottage somewhere around Berry/Kangaroo Valley area. Hubby is still to be convinced on that one but I'm sure he'll come around in the 20-30 years I have to convince him!
