I thought I'd show you what I've done so far with my new studio aka My Sweet Prints HQ :)
The studio area is downstairs in our house, all our living areas are on the main level then downstairs we have internal access to the garage, my studio, Glen's workshop and then the downstairs bedroom which has it's own little kitchen and bathroom.
So I've been decorating and furnishing the studio area and here's a look at it so far.
Then on the other side of the room I have two desks set up, so that Susy and I can work together side by side.
I bought the trestle desks from Freedom, the chairs from Ikea (they are actually really comfortable). The wall I painted in a mid grey which has a titch of purple in it and the shelves above the desks are from Ikea. The two floor rugs are from Target.
The black boxes are for Tax recipts etc.
The floor lamp I already had from our last house, it's a Freedom lamp stand with a Target shade. The curtains are from Ikea and are so cute with birds in the trees.
The little retro radio used to be in our old kitchen but it's nice to have down in the studio now.
And you can see the view out the window. The driveway wraps around to the back of the house and then it goes into bushland 'our rainforest', which gives the room a peaceful feel.
I want to add an inspiration board and some more accessories to the room to brighten it up and give it more character. On the other wall I have a big packing unit which I'll show you another time, just pretty photos for today :)
So that's it! It's taken a while to paint and choose the furniture but I'm pretty happy with it so far.
Have a great day everyone,
Janette xx
