Cardboard boxes were wrapped in bright colours for the children to use as building blocks!
The family's gorgeous Golden Retriever 'Illy' waiting patiently at the table for some food to fall into her mouth :)
The Birthday Cake - Chocolate brownies cut into 'building blocks'!
Amazing construction party packs for the kids!
And here is my little contribution to Harper's Birthday... The canvas her Mum commissioned me to make. Isn't it a gorgeous idea to include all your child's favourite meaningful things along with their name on a canvas. If you would like one too then just email me.

Didn't she do an amazing job!!! There is some great inspiration there if you're looking for a theme or ideas for your little girl or boy's birthday. I would have loved this as my birthday party - as I got a Tonka truck for my 2nd birthday :)
Have a great Tuesday everyone,
Have a great Tuesday everyone,
Oh my goodness Janette, what an amazing birthday party. I just love the coloured boxes used as building blocks. Such a good idea and it wouldn't have cost the earth to make them. How sweet is their precious dog waiting so patiently for a treat, they can teach us a lot our pets. And wow your gift to Harper is beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing.

ReplyDeleteYour friend is very clever. I love a party with a theme. Sadly my kids are getting older and we have nearly grown out of it, for now! The name canvas is terrific.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute party! I love how your friend wrapped all those boxes to act as 'blocks' and how the toy trucks had been filled with food to display. Very clever! Everything looks so well coordinated. Love the canvas you made for Harper too. Hope you are having a lovely start to the week - I've missed being able to check your blog as soon as you've written a new post - my computer troubles are driving me crazy!! :)
